Raul Receives Vice-president of Uruguay

Army General Raul Castro, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received Raul Sendic Rodriguez, Vice-president of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

In an atmosphere of cordiality, on Tuesday, they verified with satisfaction the progress that has taken place in bilateral relations and agreed on the desire to strengthen them. They also exchanged views on issues of the international agenda.

Also representing Cuba at the meeting was Bruno Rodriguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
